Revenue in Q1 2011: CHF 302.7m

Compagnie Financière Tradition reported consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2011 of CHF302.7m, compared with CHF 319.6m for the equivalent period in 2010, a decrease of 5.3% at current exchange rates but an increase of 3.8% at constant exchange rates. Revenue from interdealer broking (IDB) activities (excluding Gaitame.com) was up 7.6% in the first three months of 2011 compared with the first quarter of last year at constant exchange rates..

The level of activity was higher than in the fourth quarter 2010, with consolidated revenue up
13.7% at constant exchange rates.

The United Kingdom and the Americas are still the Group’s major areas of activity, contributing 36.1 and 29.5% of revenue respectively, against 37.7% and 28.8% in 2010. Asia accounted for 24.2% of revenue during the period against 23.3% in 2010 whilst Continental Europe remained unchanged at 10.2% of revenue.
